Partner, Co-Founder & CEO 

Nick co-founded VennPoint in 2015 as an opportunistic real estate investment company focused primarily in the multifamily sector.  As CEO, Nick is responsible for VennPoint's strategic growth initiatives, collaborating with the team to identify investments that distinguish VennPoint from its competitors while balancing risk and returns.  In addition to managing all facets of the operating company, he oversees the entire investment process, from sourcing and underwriting to diligence, capitalization, and legal documentation.  Nick's real estate experience includes over $600M of transaction volume at VennPoint, in addition to his experience as Managing Director for Cresset Real Estate Partners, a leading real estate fund manager that has amassed a $4B portfolio since 2019.  Prior to forming VennPoint, he practiced law for seven years as a commercial litigator at K&L Gates.  Nick holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a J.D. from the University of Michigan and an AB from Brown University.

Partner & COO

Kellie is a Principal at VennPoint, responsible for managing all real estate assets, renovations, and sourcing of new commercial deals.  Kellie has more than 30 years of progressive experience building and leading profitable, market leading real estate firms.  She was previously a Regional Vice President at Pinnacle, in charge of more than 4,000 units in her region where she was responsible for the ultimate execution of the business plan for each asset.  Prior to Pinnacle, she was President of Jupiter Communities.  Kellie attended University of Illinois-Chicago where she studied Communications.  Kellie is a managing broker in the state of Illinois, a court-appointed receiver, and President and Member of the Executive Committee for the Chicagoland Apartment Association.

Vice President of Acquisitions 

Sam is Vice President of Acquisitions at VennPoint responsible for sourcing new acquisition opportunities, oversight of underwriting and deal vetting processes, sourcing equity and debt, and providing strategic guidance to the investment committee on portfolio strategy.  Prior to joining VennPoint, he was part of HFF's Investment Advisory practice where he underwrote over $2B of investment sale and equity placement CRE transactions.  Sam is also an active member in the Chicago community, currently Co-chairing the JUF Emerging Real Estate Group Board of Directors.  Sam holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Operations Management from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business and is a licensed real estate broker in the state of Illinois.

Acquisitions Associate 

Kevin is an Acquisitions Associate at VennPoint, responsible for underwriting, deal analysis, and financial modeling throughout the acquisitions process.  Kevin also supports the asset and property management teams through market analysis, portfolio tracking, investor reporting, and budget forecasting.  Prior to joining VennPoint, Kevin was an analyst on JLL's Hotel Investment Banking team where he helped underwrite over $350M in hotel acquisition and financing loan requests.  Kevin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Michigan.
