Eric Becker is a principal and co-founder of VennPoint Real Estate. In addition to supporting VennPoint, Eric recently founded Cresset Capital Management, a wealth advisory platform with a full suite of services that provides access to direct alternative investments in real estate, private equity and secondary investments. Eric is also co-founder and advisor of Sterling Partners, a value-added, growth private equity firm launched in 1983. He was Senior Managing Director of Sterling and Co-Chairman of Sterling’s Operating Committee. Over 30+ years, he and his partners started or acquired more than 100 companies. Prior to founding Sterling, Eric and his partners started LifeCard International, a healthcare technology company that automated claims processing and developed digital portable medical records. He attended the University of Chicago. Eric is Co-Chairman of Chicago Ideas Week, a member of WPO, CEO, and a past chapter chairman of YPO. He currently serves on the board of Karma for Cara and the Living Classrooms Foundation.

Nick Marietti is a principal and co-founder of VennPoint Real Estate. Nick is responsible for VennPoint's development, financing, entitlement, and deal-sourcing efforts, in addition to the legal aspects of VennPoint's business. He also serves as the lead project manager for several of VennPoint's investments and development projects. Nick's experience includes both ground-up and value-add development across the country, including the retail, hospitality, and for-sale and rental single and multi-family residential sectors. Prior to forming VennPoint with Mr. Palley and Mr. Becker, Nick practiced law as a commercial litigator for K&L Gates in downtown Chicago, where he represented various clients in a broad range of disputes, including landlord/tenant, securities, breach of contract, and corporate fiduciary duty cases. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics from Brown University, a JD from the University of Michigan, and an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Kellie DeVilbiss is a principal at VennPoint, responsible for managing all real estate assets, renovations, and sourcing of new commercial deals. Kellie has more than 30 years of progressive experience building and leading profitable, market-leading firms. She was previously a Regional Vice President with Pinnacle, in charge of more than 4,000 units in her region where she was responsible for the ultimate execution of the business plan for each asset. Prior to Pinnacle, she was President of Jupiter Communities. She received her Bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Illinois-Chicago. Kellie is a managing broker in the state of Illinois, a court-appointed receiver, and the Executive Vice President and a member of the Executive Committee for the Chicagoland Apartment Association.

Jake Gantz is a vice president at VennPoint Real Estate, responsible for sourcing, closing and managing commercial real estate transactions. Jake previously held a position with Metropolitan Capital, a boutique commercial and investment bank, handling both operations and real estate loan originations for the commercial bank. Matt Maney is a vice president at VennPoint Real Estate, responsible for underwriting, sourcing, closing, and managing opportunistic commercial real estate investments. Matt previously held positions on the Chicago multi-housing team of HFF, a national leading capital markets intermediary, and at Wynnchurch Capital, a private equity firm investing in middle-market companies in the United States and Canada. Jason Ross is a Director of Capital Markets at VennPoint Real Estate, responsible for financing, oversight of lender relationships, sourcing, and managing opportunistic commercial real estate investments. Previously, Jason held the position of Vice President at Cohen Financial, a national commercial mortgage banking firm. Jason was responsible for sourcing over $800M of debt and equity structures for commercial real estate nationwide. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Entrepreneurship with a focus in real estate and finance from Syracuse University. Jason also is a licensed real estate broker in the state of Illinois and involved in numerous educational and philanthropic organizations such as: The Urban Land Institute (ULI), Jewish United Fund (JUF), and Young Presidents Organization Next Generation (YNG).
